Gabby Lewis is a Fashion Designer based in Los Angeles and Tokyo, Japan. Her career started out as a celebrity fashion stylist in 2011. From Red Carpet events, to stepping into styling Fashion Editorials for magazines, Gabby wanted to gain hands on experience in every part of the Fashion Industry. In 2013 she started my own magazine called, Thrifty Hunter. She felt as though she had stepped into another world. It was one of the most memorable experiences of a lifetime. Thrifty Hunter delivered 13 unforgettable issues. After the birth of her daughter in 2015 she put everything on hold to be a full time mom and really move into motherhood. While in Japan in 2016 she really felt like there was more to be done. So inspired by her daughter she decided to create her first kids clothing brand “bunny & hare.” Everything she designed was inspired by her baby girl! She created 2 collections Made In Japan, that were featured in 3 consecutive issues of Vogue magazine in 2020! In 2019 she felt the need to expand as a designer so she decided to take fashion design courses. From those classes she was given the opportunity to design her first SHEIN collection in 2021 "Let Them Stare!" Embarking on this new journey helped build her confidence and gave her the courage to truly step out as a designer. Gabby has always been into fashion and ever since living in Japan she has seen a new level to fashion. Japan showed her fashion is an expression that can go far beyond your imagination. Walking on the streets of Tokyo showed her what she can be and how she can wear anything and make it a trend. Japan gave Gabby a more open mind to fashion. Now being given the opportunity to create her 2nd collection with SHEIN, her mind is even more open. She felt like her mind shifted and she was able to create this collection with ease. The designs are very bold, but trendy. The mission is to break the silence and help bring more creativity to the world. She wants people to have confidence in who they are and what they wear. The one thing Gabby lives by, it NEVER QUESTION YOUR CREATIVITY. It Doesn’t matter what you wear, if you rock it in confidence everything will look good! Those that are silent and shy, she want her designs to be their SILENCE BREAKER! She wants them to develop confidence and rock it boldly.
